Technifab is a leader in manufacturing custom-engineered solutions for the aerospace industry, specializing in transforming closed-cell engineered foams into high-performance products.

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Support Specialist to help support and maintain our IT systems and business-critical applications. This role is responsible for resolving complex technical issues, supporting end users, and performing light infrastructure administration in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position bridges the gap between Help Desk and System Administration, ensuring reliable day-to-day operations while contributing to system stability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for technical support across desktops, applications, and network connectivity
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues involving business systems, including ERP, QMS, engineering platforms, and labeling systems
• Provide hands-on support for Windows environments, including Active Directory, file services, and endpoint management
• Perform workstation lifecycle management, including deployment, configuration, imaging, and decommissioning of end-user devices
• Manage user account lifecycle, including provisioning, modifications, deactivation, and access control in accordance with company security policies
• Perform basic server-level administration tasks, including service management, user account administration, group membership, and account lockouts
• Diagnose application and system performance issues through log analysis and system behavior
• Collaborate with System Administrators and IT leadership on infrastructure improvements, upgrades, and maintenance
• Participate in after-hours maintenance and support activities as needed
• Document solutions, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to improve efficiency and knowledge sharing
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT processes, support workflows, and system reliability

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3–7 years of experience in IT support, systems support, or similar role
• Strong troubleshooting skills across desktop, application, and basic infrastructure components

Working Knowledge

• Windows Server and Active Directory
• Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, Azure AD)
• Virtualization platforms (VMware preferred)
• Networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPN, basic firewall concepts)
• Experience deploying and managing end-user devices, including imaging and hardware lifecycle management
• Experience supporting line-of-business applications in a manufacturing or regulated environment preferred
• Familiarity with scripting or automation tools (e.g., PowerShell) is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
• Effective communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a production environment
