We are a busy private Optometry and Ophthalmology practice located in downtown Conway. We are searching for a friendly and enthusiastic candidate who has an interest in providing great customer service while ensuring patients receive the very best eye care. We are accepting resumes and interviewing for a Medical Claim Denials Specialist for Optometry/Ophthalmology. You must be able to multi-task, be reliable, professional, and have a friendly personality.

A minimum of 3 years experience in medical billing is required.

Staff work 4 days a week (M-F) 7:15am - 4:30pm.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Investigate and resolve rejected insurance claims to maximize provider reimbursement
• Review and analyze medical documentation to ensure accurate coding and billing
• Post insurance payments
• Prepare, review, and transmit claims using billing software, including electronic and paper claim processing
• Follow up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle time frame
• Call insurance companies regarding any discrepancy in payments
• Answer patient or insurance telephone inquiries pertaining to assigned accounts
• Perform other duties as needed
