The Haven in Woodbury is seeking a compassionate, motivated, team-oriented, and charismatic Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) or temporary permit holder (ADC-T) to join our intensive outpatient treatment program in Woodbury. While group programming occurs in the evening Monday through Thursday, this role includes afternoon preparation, documentation, and individual sessions. Typical schedules are approximately 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm or 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm on group days. Fridays typically shift earlier in the day, around 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, allowing staff to finish earlier and enjoy a full weekend!
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Client-Centered Care: Deliver treatment services such as individual counseling, group counseling, and case management within your scope of practice.
- Maintain Comprehensive Documentation: Prepare and maintain treatment plans, comprehensive assessments, and discharge summaries in compliance with MN 245G standards and statutes.
- Conduct Client Assessments: Complete thorough assessments of clients in alignment with MN 245G requirements.
- Coordinate Client Care: Collaborate with other treatment providers, placement agencies, and referral sources to ensure seamless client care.
- Manage Authorizations: Obtain and renew authorizations for third-party payers as needed.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current MN LADC or ADC-T certification.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with MN 245G requirements.
- Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Certifications: Current First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain quickly.
- Tech-Savviness: Proficient with computers, telephones, printers, and copiers.
- Dependability: Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation to and from Woodbury.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a Minnesota DHS background study.
- Cultural Competency: Ability to connect and work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
