Lambdas are extremely important to get this position. They must have worked with them. AWS cloud experience is important. The more recent the better, Azure is not what they’re doing. This AWS migration from on-prem to cloud AWS, new code in Python, old code is in Java Requirements • 14+ years of experience preferred • Previous Java development experience • 5+ years of Python experience (more is preferred) • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in the USA • Strong AWS Cloud experience • Must have hands-on experience with AWS Lambda • Experience with AWS migration from on-premises to cloud • New development in Python; legacy applications are in Java Candidates need knowledge in: • AWS • Lambda • Terraform • IaC • System Design • Kafka • API Development • CloudWatch • Strong foundation in cloud technologies – Python, Java, AWS, Lambda, Step Functions Required Qualifications • 15+ years of hands-on AWS Cloud Engineering experience • Strategic thinker • Strong communication skills and ability to follow through • AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect Professional or DevOps Engineer Professional preferred) • Experience in cloud environments • Strong experience with Terraform • Proficiency in Python • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
