The Kirsh Law Firm is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our growing residential real estate law practice as a Real Estate Settlement Paralegal / Pre-Closing Coordinator. We are looking for someone who wants to build a long-term career in residential real estate settlements. While experience in a law firm, title company, mortgage company, or real estate office is strongly preferred, we are willing to train an exceptional candidate with transferable skills, intelligence, initiative, and a strong work ethic.

Our goal is to teach you every aspect of the pre-closing process so that you can independently manage residential real estate transactions from contract through settlement.
Responsibilities
- Review contracts and prepare files for settlement
- Clear title issues and satisfy closing requirements
- Prepare deeds, affidavits, transfer documents, and other settlement documents
- Obtain mortgage payoff statements, utility final readings, HOA and condominium information, and other items necessary for closing
- Communicate with lenders, real estate agents, clients, homeowners' associations, and other parties involved in each transaction
- Monitor transaction deadlines and ensure files remain on schedule for settlement
- Work closely with attorneys and experienced team members to provide exceptional service to our clients
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, title processor, mortgage processor, or in the residential real estate industry is preferred
- Experience in a law firm, title company, mortgage company, or real estate office is strongly preferred, but we are willing to train an exceptional candidate with transferable skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn

- Starting salary of $45,000 to $65,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience
