Construction firm is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a contract role expected to last 6-12 months and be based in Phoenix, AZ. Firm specializes in semiconductor, biopharmaceutical, and data center facilities.

Role will focus on design and oversight of electrical power systems, switchgear, lighting, and perform power studies.

Pay rate is $90-100/hr. Role is considered exempt. Work schedule M-F, 8 am – 5 pm

Requirements

• 10-15 years of electrical engineering experience with technical team leadership and staff development.
• Proficiency with SKM, Revit, AutoCAD MEP, Visual Lighting Studio, and other electrical design tools.
• Knowledge of substations, switchgear, power distribution, short circuit, and fault current analysis.
• Experience with instrumentation and controls engineering.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IEEE, IES, and API standards.
• Strong technical writing, reporting, and client-facing communication skills.
• Experience with design, cost estimating, construction administration, RFIs, and submittals.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required; master’s preferred.
• PE license preferred or EIT pursuing PE licensure.
• Industry experience in Cleanrooms, laboratories, semiconductor, biotech, pharma, data centers, or other high-tech facilities preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 30%.

Pay: $90.00 - $100.00 per hour
