We are looking for Assistant Coaches

Santa Monica, CA – TSM Aquatics

TSM Aquatics (TSM) is a USA Swimming Club with approximately 250 swimmers that is seeking competitive coaches.

Responsibilities:

• Work directly with the Associate Head Coach in running Pre-Team, Age Group, and Senior practices as needed.
• Attend Staff Meetings as required.
• Complete assigned admin work in a timely manner. (can be done at home)
• Attend morning practices as required and when needed.
• Attend swim meets as required. [At least once a month].
• Complete any and all tasks assigned by the Associate Head Coach.

Qualifications:

• Have prior USA Swimming club coaching experience: having coached competitive swimmers in an Age Group and/or Senior programs.
• Have legal rights to work in the United States for the next three years.
• Be reliable, responsible, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about the sport of swimming and coaching children and young adults.
• Hold a valid Lifeguard/CPR certification. [USA Swimming valid coaching credentials is a plus].
• Demonstrate an ability to communicate effectively and work well with others as well as connect with children.
• Have access to a computer/laptop and internet.

TSM seeks hard-working coaches who are interested in developing a competitively balanced athlete with emphasis on stroke technique, while effectively training, motivating, and supporting swimmers of various abilities.

Compensation: Commensurate with experience

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 22.0 – 25.0 per week
