Join our historic Horse Transportation team as a Gooseneck and/or Tractor Trailer Truck Driver, where your expertise in commercial trucking will drive our success forward! We are actively hiring Full & Part-time dependable CDL A licensed drivers who are responsible for the care and well-being of the horses while in transit. If you love horses and beautiful farms this is the perfect position for you!

Duties

• Safely operate vehicles ensuring compliance with FMCSA and DOT regulations..
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking for mechanical issues and proper documentation.
• Secure horses and cargo properly insuring load stability and safety during transit.
• Continually monitor the horses on board providing them water and hay during stops and insuring their care and condition enroute.
• Maintain communication with dispatch & customers and provide accurate paperwork and results.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A or B license with 2 years verifiable driving experience.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass FMCSA/DOT drug & alcohol screening.
• Knowledge of manual transmission operation and proficiency in manual handling techniques.
• Willingness to learn with a professional attitude and appearance.
