The Position:

Zinkerz is currently seeking experienced educators to help teach our SAT classes for high school students.

The classes focus on SAT Math, which includes Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, and Triangle Trigonometry topics.

The one-on-one lessons will be conducted using Zinkerz learning materials in a virtual classroom.

The purpose of these classes is to prepare students to take the SAT by teaching them the skills they need to be efficient test-takers, including the use of the Desmos calculator. Instructors will work with students over an extended period of time, building strong relationships to guide and manage their progress.

We offer flexible scheduling, and are especially interested in instructors who have availability during our high need hours Monday through Thursday between 4pm - 10pm EST.

Qualifications:

• 1+ year teaching/tutoring experience, especially with high school math
• Familiar with math content explored on the SAT
• Strong knowledge of Algebra and Geometry at the high school level
• Comfortable using technology in the classroom - including Desmos.com/calculator
• 10+ available hours per week (ideally between 4–10 PM EST)
• Bachelor’s degree (or currently pursuing one)
• Outgoing, energetic, and responsive personality
