About This Role
HVACR II $30.00 - $38.00 and HVACR III $45.00 - $55.00
HVACR Mechanical Technician II & III works directly in the field on maintenance, repair, as well as projects that directly involve heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration (HVACR) and all other aspects of mechanical equipment. This position will be involved in a variety of markets to include mission critical, data centers, manufacturing, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, retail, and more.
With a primary focus in the VA, MD, WV and DC markets (targeted 90-mile radius from home location), this position will also assist with national accounts as needed based on project demand. This position mentors team members and supports long-term planning for the organization’s mechanical portfolio.
This position requires enthusiasm, leadership, excellent communication skills and the ability to work on multiple complex tasks/projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Maintain effective communication with internal teams, clients, vendors, and external partners to ensure seamless collaboration and service delivery.
· Mentor and support team members while fostering a collaborative, customer-focused work environment.
· Act as the primary point of contact and escalation resource for project- and task-related issues.
· Ensure assigned projects and initiatives are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational objectives.
· Support the Mechanical Team Manager/Director with project planning, quotations, and account management activities.
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to performance strategies, workflows, and operational processes.
· Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with internal project management standards and procedures.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the organization to support operational success.
· Travel as needed, including potential international travel requirements.
· Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of HVACR systems, including chillers, CRACs, CRAHs, air handlers, compressors, and pumps.
· Diagnose moderately complex mechanical and electrical system issues and implement corrective actions.
· Analyze system readings, controls, and performance data to identify root causes and optimize system performance.
· Support the execution of service initiatives and projects across multiple client locations.
· Assist in training, mentoring, and guiding Technician I team members to support technical development and team performance.
· Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
· Accurately document service activities, findings, repairs, and recommendations for clients and internal records.
