Web Content Editor

We are looking for an editor that can help us with editorial content in a variety of topics, such as Fashion, Style, Food, Travel and related topics to enhance our Latino base user experience. The ideal candidate needs to be creative and bilingual to be responsible for planning, assigning, creating and editing content and managing freelance writers. The person needs to be excited and passionate about the Latino community, which is the fastest growing segment of U.S. population. This position is very important because it has the power to influence over 50+ million potential Latinos who are overlooked online.

Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of Editorial or Editorial Management experience
• Must have the ability to fluently speak Spanish and English
• A clear understanding of the diverse Latino lifestyle in the United States
• Strong writing and editing skills with outstanding grammar in both Spanish and English
• Must be focused on creating useful content that can improve our platform and user experience
• Must be internet savvy as the job requires a great amount of research
• Aim for success, be motivated and committed to overcoming challenges

• Strong organizational skills, reliable and detail-oriented

Responsibilities:

• Research, plan, guide and develop content while assigning projects to freelance writers
• Making sure the content is error-free and relevant
• Evaluate, hire, and manage freelance writers who have great knowledge of English and Spanish
• Must be a fast-learner in order to perform tasks in a timely manner
• Prioritizing and working on various assignments
