Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Support the monitoring of classroom schedules and activities
• Support curriculum/educational programming development, monitoring of student curriculum and preparation for future transitions (e.g., moving from High School to Post High School, transition planning), implementation of curriculum/educational programming (including instructional practices and progress monitoring procedures), development, implementation, and evaluation of IEPs, progress reports, and other educational procedures
• Assist with conducting functional assessment, developing, implementing and evaluating BIPs, skill replacement programs, fading plans, and overseeing classroom management systems/universal supports
• Support the supervision of and conduct initial and ongoing staff training (e.g., treatment integrity, inter-observer agreement, evidence-based instructional and behavioral practices) and evaluation of behavioral programming efficacy through data review

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (Applied Behavior Analysis or Psychology preferred)
• Three years providing educational and behavioral services to students with autism spectrum disorder
• Understanding of behavioral principles and function-based treatment
• Experience conducting, analyzing and making recommendations following student and staff observations related to implementation of behavioral programming
• Experience working with a multidisciplinary team
• Adherence to a high level of professional and ethical standards
