Job Overview
Reframe Nutrition is seeking a motivated, client-centered Personal Trainer to join our growing wellness team. This role combines personalized fitness coaching with technology-driven program design. The Personal Trainer will be responsible for developing individualized workout programs through the Trainerize app, providing virtual personal training sessions, and collaborating with Registered Dietitians to support clients in achieving sustainable health, fitness, and weight management goals.

The ideal candidate is passionate about helping clients make lasting lifestyle changes, enjoys building meaningful relationships, and is comfortable utilizing virtual platforms and fitness technology to deliver exceptional care.

Responsibilities

• Develop tailored workout plans based on clients’ fitness levels, goals, and medical
• Conduct initial fitness assessments and review client health history, goals, and exercise experience.
• Four workouts per week for six-week programming cycles
• Exercise progressions and modifications based on client needs and abilities
• Instructional videos, exercise descriptions, and coaching cues
• Review and update workout programs regularly based on client progress, feedback, and changing goals.
• Conduct one-on-one virtual personal training sessions via video conferencing platforms.
• Provide accountability, motivation, and education to help clients establish sustainable fitness habits.
• Collaborate with Reframe Nutrition Registered Dietitians to ensure exercise programming complements clients' nutrition plans and overall wellness goals.
• Monitor client progress, document session notes, and communicate recommendations with the care team as appropriate.
• Educate clients on proper exercise technique, injury prevention, recovery, and behavior change strategies.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism, responsiveness, and client satisfaction.
• Contribute to program development and continuously seek opportunities to enhance the client experience.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics to inform safe exercise practices
• Expertise in program design tailored to diverse client needs across different fitness levels
• Experience in sports coaching and teaching physical education to enhance training effectiveness
• Proven ability in personal training, group fitness instruction, and fitness sales to grow client base
• Excellent communication skills for teaching exercises clearly and motivating clients effectively
• Sales skills to promote wellness services confidently while maintaining a client-first approach
• Familiarity with health club operations and gym equipment to ensure safe usage during workouts
