Paint Sales Associate

Full-Time Saturdays a must.

Pay: $17.00–$22.00 per hour, depending on experience

Responsibilities:

Welcome customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance.

Answer customer questions about paint products in person and over the phone.

Operate the cash register accurately, including handling cash transactions and counting back change.

Process special orders.

Perform inventory audits and stock shelves.

Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and checkout area.

Assist customers with finding products and completing their projects.

Tint and mix paint to customer specifications.

Assist customers with paint selection, color matching, and product recommendations.

Maintain paint tinting equipment.

Support other departments, primarily the hardware department during slower periods and when all paint room responsibilities are finished.

Qualifications:

Ability to stand and walk for an 8-hour shift.

Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.

Ability to bend, reach and carry products.

Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Previous hardware store, paint, or retail experience is strongly preferred but not required.

Training & Development:

No prior paint experience? No problem. We provide comprehensive training for new team members, along with ongoing education, product knowledge, and opportunities by working closely with our Benjamin Moore paint representatives.
