Thank you for your review! The labor market shortage has made it so difficult to find field technicians, but we are always looking. And in case you didn't know, we have an Employee Referral Bonus program in place to reward current employees for good referrals. We would love to see more referrals come through, so please spread the word and direct people to our website to apply. The application contains a field for them to enter the name of a current employee that referred the candidate. Thank you for all your hard work!

Pros

Willing to work with your schedule.

Cons

Pays below the industry average. If you are salaried, expect to work 10-20 hours extra during the busy season for no extra pay or ability to recoup the time during the slow season. Just changed sick time structure, and employees are losing previously available time because of it.

Staff Engineer II

Pros

Great place to get engineering experience. Many opportunity to work on lots of different projects, different aspects of engineering, different locations. Meet and work with contractors, engineers, architects. Flexibility in work hours for some employees. Employee owned so they aren't caught up in the almighty share price. And they still make money and have been growing steadily. Good investment in equipment.

Cons

Very little communication within my department as far as work load management or department goals. Minimal training - you are expected to find your way on your own. Some Administrative Assistants are rude and unhelpful. Lots of hours required during the construction season to keep up with the work load. We are losing the young engineers due mostly to low pay.
