No Pros, only cons are there

Cons

They did not pay my yearly bonus, which they promised to pay 100 % at the time of my joining, such a cheap and unprofessional act !! Managers and HRs not supportive, very rude behavior... No work life balance .... Leaves are never approved I will not recommend anyone to join this company.

Thank you for taking time to write a review! I am not sure how long ago you left the organization, but it sounds like a lot has changed. At AST, we are continuing to make improvements to the employee experience. We are in the process of closing out our 2018 performance, planning our 2019 goals, and determining final bonus payouts. Last week, we had our largest annual meeting in AST history and during that time leadership conveyed the long term strategic goals as well as a re-cap of 2018 achievements. Senior leadership is committed to the employees of AST and the strategic goals of the organization.

This is the company where I was given an opportunity to openly share my views and I am really happy to work here, I have a great team above and below me :) who are open to listening and discussing our thoughts. Some of the great things at the office are as follows 1) Work from Home 2) Flexibility 3) Open discussion culture 4) Improvising things by taking input from Employees 5) Monthly Awards ( Rewards and Recognition) 6) Very good referral Bonus 7) 2 Months Notice Period which is very good compared to other companies 8) Innovation is considered as its a Service Based Company

Cons

They plan not to sack the people, because of which some times there will be deviations in hikes and bonuses, but in a way its far better than sacking people.

Cons

Internal communications are non-existent between ELT and employees. American jobs are being swapped for offshore regularly. Bonus pool is used to make up short falls resulting in no annual bonuses regularly. Raises keep getting scaled back every year to the point where even with a good performance review, you receive less than 2%. Projects are under staffed, and no work/life balance.

The trend was once positive, but it is now showing signs of decline.

Cons

While the upper management at this company is lacking, they do excel at communication. No matter how poor their business decisions may be, management has a way of convincing employees that it's all for their own good. This is particularly evident when it comes to the postponement of bonuses, which occurs without clear communication. The appraisal process is also problematic, with unnecessarily long and absurd requirements that seem to serve no real purpose. While the company is profitable year-round, they seem to skimp on bonuses, leaving employees feeling undervalued. Furthermore, the company follows an industry-leading practice of awarding increments on a 15-month cycle, which means that it takes five years to earn just four increments. This practice is particularly frustrating and disappointing to employees who have dedicated their time and effort to the company, only to be met with such stingy rewards. The management and a frustrating appraisal process make it a difficult place to work for those seeking fair treatment and recognition of their efforts.
