Pros

Never stagnant, many changes and refreshes that continuously help you develop your skill set! Beautiful product, it is fulfilling to come into work every day surrounded by quality furniture/decor.

Cons

Constant change keeps your head on a swivel, but as mentioned, it helps you further your development and career if you want to pursue it. I recommend volunteering to participate in new store opening set ups if you want to keep up to speed with current practices!

Pros

Many opportunities to travel to and assist with new store openings. Frequent opportunities to advance/ relocate within the Visual Department. Supportive and collaborative company culture. Generous employee discount. Great schedule, easy work/ life balance. Great base pay. Valuable skills in painting, installing, and general DIY learned through the position.

Cons

Can get lonely at times as it’s a one-man department for most locations. Physical job that will tire you. Can be a lot to juggle at times, knowing how to prioritize responsibilities and use time most efficiently is key.
