Pros
I met some of the best people here! Including former CEO Jeff Bray. Jeff is why I made medquest my home away from home for 6 of my 9 years there. He encouraged you to not only be better but helped you reach your goals when you applied yourself. He was personal and willing to take on even the “lesser” work, with any employee. That’s the kind of thing that keeps employees. One of the most humble men I’ve met and it was an honor to work for him. The shipping team alone handles business! They are the most reliable team there! It’s never on them if your package doesn’t make it by the allotted time trust me. UPS is their shipping downfall. Ever since they made the switch from FedEx. PCS leadership has always been solid and reliable when working with them, they can only do so much to find your package that the carrier lost, again it’s not on them, once a package has left the building it is no longer in there hands. Pros? Some of the best people I know work here. The people in the medquest building make it a family. There will always be bad experiences based on how one handles themselves there. Your attitude and your dedication to your job, even on the hard days make your experience there. I was always positive about my experience with who I worked with closely until now. You don’t work weekends if you’re not a tech.
Cons
Belmar took over. Belmar has such horrible insurance there are pharmacists that work there that could only afford to put themselves and a child on it having to leave their spouse to get there own. Belmar has turned a small company into a rotating door for so many good former employees. They continue to drive home numbers over quality like Medquest WAS about under Jeff Brays vision. All in the Belmar image. They don’t care about the employees. They don’t let go of problems in areas that continue to be problems and are willing to sacrifice the good employees to continue to “succeed” with lesser performance in pursuit of the consumers money. They don’t listen to senior employees/management when they suggest big changes in the way a small company uses better services in the area over Belmars “trusted” service in another geographical location is beyond my comprehension. The business continues to hear negativity towards the new shipping service/carrier yet continues to not care about the patients feedback. Belmar has changed so many things there the system there crashes because the services they continue to use again are for profit over quality. It hinders the flow and quality of the service they provide. Biggest cons is being forced out of a job I took pride in, loved and was good at. And losing good people I loved working with.
