Pros

Coming from an acquisition I was a bit nervous but the Bigtincan team was very welcoming and quickly found a place for me on a stellar sales team. 1. My manager always makes time for me as I work through my deals. 2. My team is collaborative and helped accelerate my onboarding by letting me ride shotgun on some of their deals. 3. A dedicated sales enablement team upskills me on product knowledge, messaging, roadmap and strategy. 4. Access to all levels of leadership.

Cons

Slightly different deal cycle and renewal process than the company I came from which took some getting used to but was a non-issue.

Pros

11/10 place to work! Great benefits, Great people, compensation un-capped and in the top 1% of software space in terms of potential earnings, strong existing product + roadmap advanced ahead of the market. Bigtincan has a fantastic top down leadership approach with many opportunities for advancement. As a seller, unique to Bigtincan is a generous stock options, un-capped commission structure with significant accelerators for high performers. The product has evolved significantly in the past 36 months and we are in the top 2 solutions categories in every category in every vertical we thrive in Manufacturing, Life Sciences, Financial Services, Telco, Retail, etc. We have built out a suite of industry specific templates, plug and play solutions and integrations which really reduces any sales friction. The leadership team has also built out a network of partners and in-house professional services to give enterprise level customers a fresh approach to "Build vs. Buy" - with Bigtincan you can create OOTB SaaS solutions and further customize on your own through our API and SDK. There is really no excuse for someone in sales to not prospect, tons of support, endless amounts of optional training available on product knowledge, strategy, best practices, sales process, business acumen, etc and our marketing team does a fantastic job at lead generation and events.

Cons

Enterprise Management style is focused on self-starters who can own a territory and do a great job of transfering our product stories to customers using their own experiences. Since we sell a software to be used by sales and not some black box IT solution ...here, at Bigtincan you can't show up expecting to take clients to a steak dinner and have you tech person or "SE" do all the work for you. It's a team environment where everyone is expected to do a little of everything. Our most successful sellers live and breath our products and use our own solutions daily to scale their territories and businesses. If you are looking for an old school sales gig with highly defined roles and responsibilities this might not be for you. Each territory and their teams have autonomy to run independently.
