DO NOT WORK HERE

Pros

None. There are a million cider, beer, wine, canned cocktail, etc. companies that you can work for. Work there.

Cons

CEO Andrew Blake is the worst kind of person - someone who thinks they’re smart/brilliant/creative/successful on their own, but actually isn’t any of those things. He does not seem to understand that he is the problem. This isn’t a surprise because he surrounds himself with “yes men” (and yes, I do mean MEN.) There is zero strategy, no planning in advance, no long term plan, and zero understanding of the industry in which he operates. 0 stars. Do NOT work here.

Pros

Get the opportunity to wear as many hats as you want! But only if you agree with managements timeline and creative suggestions. You must conform and work tirelessly.

Cons

You are “required” to work weekends during the fall, benefits are nothing, maternity leave 4 weeks max, no raises or bonuses since 2021, communication is non existent, gossiping in meetings from management, sense of urgency on EVERY task, toxic company culture, disconnected easily duped money-grabbing Founder (who is also the president of marketing and production, despite knowing little of either department), zero diversity, HIGH turnover rate in every department (if they aren’t let go, they will leave within 2 years), suspect financial practices, lackluster HR person, heavy nepotism for friends and family of the Blake’s in EVERY department, disorganized, money-hungry, and very little appreciation for workers and staff. They won’t pay you what you deserve. Men are more likely to be promoted for doing the same, or less, work than their female coworkers.
