During my tenure, someone high up in senior management would badmouth other people. I was repeatedly told that certain contractors/hires should feel lucky that we give them work, that we should extract as much as we can from them and don’t overpay. I was also constantly being told just to push people to get things done. A toxic mentality to work with. Despite being hired into marketing, I was pulled deep into work that is far from my domain, to the point of interviewing candidates with technical background. There was no structural decision framework or evaluation process here. I was also asked to attend a call on a day I declared sick - that was my "done" moment.

- terrible pay even for an early stage startup - really chaotic and directionless - intense hustle culture - there really is no culture at all. the team felt really disjointed and disconnected. Wasn't a lot of cohesion or synergy to work together and well.
