Pros

After 15 years with Eck Supply,which was a great company to work for, we were bought by Sonepar and taken over by the management of Capital Electric . I was the Area Manager for Eck in South Carolina and we consistently grew our business until taken over by Capital. I was terminated for "not being on board" With no more explanation than that I can only conclude it was because I had opinions based on my experience and knowledge i.e. I wasn't a yes man. One big pro is digital technology,but Senior management does not value people.

Cons

The president of the company rules like a dictator. Mid level management is weak by design,because the president does not care to have other people's input. I am not the only former Eck area manager to be terminated,because we were encouraged to provide input when we were under Eck management.

Overworked, Underpaid and no work/life balance

Pros

Location made the commute easy, building was nice and product training

Cons

Management lacks sense of work/life balance. There is an abundance of favoritism. There is a lack of appreciation for how much the “workers” actually do. The HR department lacks communication and support when needed.

Managment would rather higher and promote there kids or family members over others Managment doesn’t show respect to individuals who don’t fit there mold
