Pros

The only pro about this position was the money, that is the only reason for their slight retention numbers they have, and this was most certainly not just my opinion.

Cons

This company does NOT care about you. This has been made evident several times as they fire people for the smallest infractions, such as forgetting to clock in or out or being late when it isn't one's fault, ie. construction traffic.

Pros

staff are nice and hard working, but totally under-appreciated.

Cons

owner is toxic and unethical. They have 3 class action lawsuits pending from their own employees. No retirement, high deductible health insurance. very little time off.

Pros

Free Uniforms lots of overtime free training through the company

Cons

It is not uncommon to work more than 60 hours per week for months and months. The number of hours are expected not asked. People get burnt out and dread working there. Working with a boss that actively tries to fire you. When I first started there I couldn't figure out why there was such a high turnover rate with such an easy job. This is a buddy buddy job Until I spoke with the then Captain. Once you say "no" he is no longer your buddy and will look for the smallest actions to write you up. 3 write ups in a given year automatic fired. All management and veterans that have been there longer than 3 years pretend to be friendly only to get dirt or mistakes that you have made to help get you written up. while I worked there was 9 people fired a full staff of the facility consisted of 19. There wasnt a single employee there that loved or looked forward to coming to work there. There were a select few people that worked there that could be trusted. During every hiring phase the management looks to fire someone to clear up the schedule and make sure the new employees work as much as possible. The CEO will make her bi annual visit only to tell everyone what they want to hear only to make written changes a few weeks down the road contradicting herself. This will be accompanied with nasty emails about how we are not doing our jobs properly.
