They are very interested in moving people up in the company.

Cons

I like the union but it does protect the lazy people from getting fired.

Excellent company and working environment Independence to handle job requests as needed Able to develop good working relationships with engineering and management Benefits were good for position/level OT available as desired, rarely if ever required

Cons

Building itself could use some upgrades. WA has a relatively mild climate, but no heat or AC in the shop. Needs better ventilation of welding booths or encouragement for mobile hoods. Welders get PAPR hoods, non welders don't. Some heavy equipment is outdated, but improvements were upcoming.
