Senior Management Only Worries About Themselves

Pros

There are some great people that work at DiaSorin. They put in way more work then should be expected but they are dedicated to the products. There are many exciting things that the company has in the pipeline. The products are innovative and all have a great quality to them.

Cons

The culture at DiaSorin is toxic. From the corporate management all the way to the local management for DiaSorin Inc. There is little to know planning and commitment to a plan is non-existent with the company. The entire organization is tactical to the extreme and every decision is knee-jerk. While management says that the employees matter this is not shown in how management treats the employees. Long term employees are not given opportunities to grow and the emphasis is placed on new employees, disregarding long term producers for the organization.

Horrible company

Pros

Flex schedule with hours and tasks

Cons

The manufacturing department specifically process scientist group was horrible. Never in my life have I felt more alone or out of place. I have never had a job in my working career where I cried every night because of the management, “leads”, and fellow co workers picking apart everything without giving me a chance to grow. Training process was absolutely atrocious no concrete way to establish growth or retention. I was asked to “watch people” that were clearly not meant to teach and then when I asked questions because concepts weren’t clear or confusing I was constantly scoffed at and ridiculed. After my “training” I was ridiculed for not meeting expectations that weren’t delivered to me. I was told conflicting information by senior employees and management. There is no way to improve in that type of environment. I now know after much therapy and becoming a supervisor eventual in my current role that the problem was not me but rather the company environment that was created and fostered. I train my employees and sharing my own personal mistakes to establish Trust while I give constant tips and feedback to create growth and satisfaction in my employees snd their feelings of value:

Think twice before taking a job in the Cypress office

Pros

Cypress location: Catered lunch which wasn't always great, but it was free. Most employees are eligible for a yearly bonus of 3% of your salary. Tuition reimbursement. Professional development.

Cons

Cypress location: Lots of turnover in all departments. For people working in production, they get treated terribly with mandatory overtime and grueling schedules. Most supervisors and managers have been there for a long time but don't exhibit real leadership skills. Directors and VPs at the company are unprofessional and all about politics. In less than a year, a whole department was laid off, the President was fired, there was an IT breach, multiple HR people were fired or quit. The focus is on the wrong employees.
