Pros

Unlimited PTO, flexible schedule as long as you get your work done, managers are super chill about having appointments, having kids at home, etc.

Cons

The Senior Leadership team is incapable of stepping back and trusting their employees to do their job. They feel the need to do things quickly, even if it's not the right way to go about it. This style of leadership really takes the wind out of your sails and just makes you into someone who just does what needs to be done because it doesn't really matter what you think. Also, people get let go left and right so there is constant worry of having the same fate yourself.

Pros

Great non-management coworkers, customers and technology (when it works)

Cons

Horrible layoff experience. Manager of 3 years didn’t reach out to me after it happened. Worst severance package I’ve ever received from a company g when getting laid off. Management does not know what they are doing. Things change all the time and it’s usually with the intention to stay ahead of the market curve and predict the next best thing, not because they actually think this is something the industry currently needs. The technology breaks regularly. Our customers dread 4/20 with us because of it. I would never recommend Dutchie as a place to work. I was part of one of the many layoffs they’ve done in the last couple years. I was a tenured CSM doing well, then out of the blue got put on a pilot sales team that was completely different than my normal CSM functions. Didn’t get any heads up this would happen, didn’t ask if I wanted to be on the team, they just completely changed my job one day. Big surprise, that team didn’t do well because dutchie wasn’t doing well and didn’t have a true way to support the team, so they just laid us all off. :)

We’re glad to hear you had a positive experience with your co-workers, our customers, and our products. We’re continuing to evolve as we approach complex and sometimes unpredictable changes in cannabis industry. Like many in the tech industry, we’ve had to make tough decisions that involved restructuring. We believe these decisions have set Dutchie up for success going forward, and want all of our employees to feel supported throughout their entire journey at Dutchie. We appreciate your candor in sharing your review.

Pros

The cannabis industry is definitely a fun industry to be a part of and different from your average tech job

Cons

Oh boy.. I mean, it's been a mess since they outed the founders.. constant shifting priorities, layoffs upon layoffs, will be asked to pivot over and over and over again
