If you have any self-respect, don't work here

Pros

Was a fun and interesting place to work early on. The company in NA was always a mess and has floundering, but there were some good people amidst the madness.

Cons

Has every issue that are recurrent in the tech world, but on steroids. Leadership focused on buzzwords and impact-economy garbage to the exclusion of tangible business ideas and concern for the actual customer base: truckers. The company exists to serve government regulators in NZ and the US and force more big-brother tech into every truck that it can. Culturally, excellence is discouraged, mediocrity celebrated, no one can speak truthfully about anything, teams are isolated and understaffed, employees are underpaid and constantly in the dark about direction and changes.

Pros

Some of the greatest minds in transportation compliance are lifelong friends. At one time, it was a great place to grow a career from entry level onward. The customer base is, in general, a dream.

Cons

Egos and politics. Favoritism and likewise, unfair or inaccurate judgment based on personality. Technology left unsupported that never evolved more than bare minimum requirements. Particular groups allowed to run amok and undo the hard work of support and success teams. More egos and politics. A general sense of contempt for the customer from C-Suite. Grab the money and run business strategy that doesn’t sit well with people truly invested in the transportation industry.

All talk, no action by leadership

Pros

Takes a long time to get fired

Cons

Bad leadership, no accountability or ownership for customer issues or problems. Product innovation is behind and the CTO and CPO have no understanding of NA business or trucking. Benefits aren't great and no room for career development.
