Pros
Pay is good, you're not making less than $22/hr plus $30 per diem to do nothing but retrofits. They rent a house instead of a hotel.
Cons
They never have enough material. Its so bad there's weeks where you only work 1-2 days. You're lucky to get your 40 hours for the week. If you're not a foreman you can expect to be let go once project is nearing completion. Depending on how long you were there for you'll either get an excuse of why you must go home (no work due to x or y reason) and they'll keep giving excuses until you quit or they'll send you home and fire you and claim you didn't do a good enough job. Just to avoid paying unemployment. They pushed me to quit my job and let me and 3 others go after a month. Be prepared to work hot even if they say you're not supposed/allowed to. Will fire you day 1 if you're missing tools. Will only rent 1 car for 4-5 people.
