Pros

There was a lot to be said for this company until they came to the conclusion that people are entirely disposable and they should pay for the mistakes of management.

Cons

50 people dumped in one day. No warning. Some of them had just been relocated overseas and were abandoned there. Would you work for a company that treats people this way?

Great tech, lousy business acumen

Pros

Great technology and collaborative environment. There is a good sense of community at EC. Everyone is really eager to jump in and help.

Cons

Stability of exec team seems a bit tenuous. Long-term investors for a company that is not entirely self sustaining after 12 years doesn't bode well for the company's viability. As of late the company seems caught between 2 identities.

Pros

Technology works and it is a solid product that you can get behind and not be embarrassed about.

Cons

Massive turnover. New mgt all the time - which shows poor leadership from the CEO. His first time running a company so he gets nervous and instead of leading he fires and hires to cover up his shortsightedness. The new CRO is a east coast wind bag who does not know the culture or the industry, who is super cheap. A really bad move by the board and CEO hire him he will be the undoing of the company.
