Pros
The company offers competitive pay and decent benefits. Im part of a larger team that cares about us and encourages us to apply ourselves. I feel I have lots of freedom but am supported by management. The building is great and commute is easy. We have a gym. Feels like a campus. Communication is constant and we’re encouraged to be entrepreneurs. Feels like a startup at times.
Cons
Time off policy is lousy. Project managers are inconsistent and dont provide reasonable plans. Since I hired we’ve held a lot of planning meetings but no plan has been produced. Too many managers spend their day arguing about metrics but the work remains disorganized. Programmers look frustrated and disengaged from the big picture. Its like they’re a company within the company. Turnover is high there and morale seems low. Managers are very combative. Unsure what manufacturing works on. I have never spoken to anyone from that group.
