Pros

Top-notch portfolio of some of the most distinguished luxury brands in the world.

Cons

Given its French heritage, the company is extremely hierarchical and bureaucratic. Everything is dictated by Paris and everyone must march to those drums (think Ancien Regime or the days before the French Revolution). Also, it’s the alcohol industry which is dominated by veteran white males who have done business the same way since the days of Prohibition. So forget about doing anything innovative, new, or different. There is absolutely no training, however since they only recruit from within the alcohol industry there’s no need for it or the new ideas that may come occur with a new perspective. It’s a “sink or swim” mentality both in doing the job and dealing with the politics. Most of it isn’t “rocket science” so don’t expect to be surrounded by a lot of smart people. IT is a joke and even if they did get some top notch technology platforms no one would know what to do with it let alone how to use it. The younger crowd will enjoy the free booze and parties but those who are serious about their career end up leaving within 2-3 years if they can stand it. The politics is thick so watch your back.
