Pros

Committed to action - not words - on diversity, inclusion, internal career development and promotion, excellence, and respect for work-life balance.

Cons

Unyielding drive to continually improve is what makes the organization fresh, exciting, and innovative. Although leadership is sensitive to avoid it, change fatigue can happen periodically when many critical change projects intersect at one time.

Pros

The mission of the organization and the dedication of many frontline employees are admirable, but the internal culture makes it a difficult place to build a long-term career. Work life balance is one of the biggest challenges. Long workweeks, frequent after-hours work, and overnight maintenance are often treated as the norm rather than the exception. Employees are expected to remain available even after a full day of work, contributing to burnout and high turnover. Leadership quality varies significantly . There appears to be a preference for top-down decision-making rather than promoting experienced internal talent or listening to the engineers who maintain the environment every day. Employees who raise technical concerns or identify operational risks may feel dismissed instead of supported. Constructive feedback is not always welcomed, which discourages people from speaking up, despite all their claims to the contrary. Project management and operational planning often feel reactive rather than proactive. Maintenance windows, testing, and change management could be better organized. In a healthcare environment where reliability is critical, stronger planning and more realistic testing would reduce unnecessary stress and improve overall stability. There is talent, but collaboration is inconsistent. Instead of encouraging open technical discussion, disagreements can become political, making it harder to solve problems efficiently. The organization’s stated values emphasize caring for employees, but many staff members do not feel that those values are reflected in their daily experience. Morale suffers when workloads continue to increase without corresponding support or recognition. **Pros** - Meaningful mission and opportunity to support patient care. - Talented coworkers who genuinely want to do good work. - Good benefits and job stability.

Cons

**Cons** - Poor work-life balance. - Long hours and frequent herculean after-hours expectations. - Limited transparency from leadership. - Inconsistent management. - Employees may feel discouraged from raising concerns. - Disorganized project planning and change management.
