Pros
People are generally nice and helpful and there seems to be very little bullying or clique-behavior (at least in the NICU). Medical benefits are way better than some other hospital systems in the area.
Cons
Northside consistently pays the lowest nursing salary in the greater Atlanta area. Everywhere else has higher base salaries and also higher differentials, and they know it but refuse to acknowledge it and continue in their stubborn "we did a market assessment and we're on track" as though the nurses of Atlanta area hospitals never talk to each other about salaries. Because of this, turnover is high and retention is very low, contributing to lower morale as well. Micromanaging also seems to be a problem throughout the system. The 403b match is also abysmal, only 2%, and the pension is a joke.
