Pros

The people / culture is second to none. This is a family. We enjoy working and playing together. The hiring process continues to foster the culture by hiring bright individuals who are well rounded and are go getters but who also foster a work-life balance. Protiviti's executive team has continued to be spot on with the strategy, continuing to update the strategy successfully every few years.

Cons

At least here locally, executive management is extremely risk averse. We've been chipping away but they don't like to take on risky (aka fun and exciting) jobs.

Pros

Good Culture, decent pay, not overworked too much.

Cons

Repetitive, meaningless, and boring work, hard to pivot out of this career once started. Also, the consulting career feels like such a fake job at times. Doesn't feel like real work. Makes you question your life decisions. I'd recommend any college grads to think about their future career goals first before joining. I joined on a whim and wish I spent more time interviewing. It's been incredibly difficult to pivot out of internal audit and sox compliance once you are in it. However, if you are really good at corporate politics and advocating for yourself you may be able to pivot out of the IAFA solution . However, not sure how that lends it self if you want to leave the company.
