A lot of the management has been there for 10-20 years and it feels like they've been given positions simply because they were there already. Lots of favoritism going on and I suspect they compensate for the salaries and lofty titles by hiring mostly underpaid foreign contractors. You will likely have a non technical manager using AI to review your code. Not fun
