Pros

Good peers to work with. Good software product. Ability to work from home

Cons

Professional Services is a joke. No support from senior management with regards to Professional Services Over promise and under deliver software implementation to the client. Work extremely long hours with no work life balance and yet we are not recognized for the work. No structure to the software implementation. Constantly put out fires, making the client upset all the time.

Unfortunately, not much good to say about erecruit. Compensation is OK and benefits also, there are a few clever people that you can learn from .... but that's about it.

Cons

In my 15 years of software development career, I've NEVER seen such a chaotic and disorganized development process as I've experienced in erecruit. The whole process, from talking to clients and gathering requirements, to development and testing (what testing!? :) was such an utter mess, that I couldn't believe my eyes. And the codebase ... well, such mix of all kinds of different technologies, and different paradigms applied during development resulted in such a codebase that experienced developers (we are talking about 10+ years of experience) needed two to three months to figure out what is going on there :).

The company has a whole new structure, a new executive team and is definitely one to watch. New plans and initiatives have vastly improved the company's overall drive and employee morale as well as giving revitalization to other divisions of the newly merged companies under one brand - Erecruit. I'm very excited to be a part of this journey and can't wait to see what is yet to come!

Cons

No 401k match and the time off benefits (in US) are lower than I've had at any other company but they do offer rollover so you can save some up for a bigger trip if needed.
