If I listed all the cons, I would be here all day. It says alot about a company when you lose 5 good employees from a meat dept. in the same week. There is no leadership there at all, and all the owner cares about is money. They discriminate against their employees and get away with it. Unless you have a really brown nose and are on the buddy system, don't ever plan on going anywhere. You can go from being a grinder and sausage maker, knowing absolutely nothing about cuts of meat to being an assistant just like that, if your friends with all the high ranking people. They think offering a .10 cent raise per year is something to be proud about, what a joke. The way they heap up the service case is disgusting, all that meat just sits in there everyday then goes right back out the next day. I guess if you like crappy stuff for way too much money, shop festival foods.

Family grocer that has gone Corporate Constantly under staffed by design they have gutted labor hours out of most departments to save money. Worst pay per position compared to other grocery/department stores Salaried as management and you will be expected to work 50+ hours a week even though your pay is based on 40 hours because being short staffed but they will spew work/life balance and then immediately complain if you aren't working tons of hours. Constantly being blamed at store level for upper managements mistakes.
