Pros

Growing company which provides opportunities for personal growth

Cons

Management does not have the cultural background that will enable them to be a truly global company. They try to do everything from a Finnish point of view, and that does not work well in every culture where they operate.

Pros

It is a great product and some awesome ideas from the dev team are coming soon.

Cons

Onboarding was prehistoric and there was a lot of paper involved. A lot of promised things that never came to fruition. Some territories got no inbound leads, EVER. No training on the resources used for prospecting.

Pros

Very Nice people with min experience scaling a business.

Cons

They are overly worried about what you are doing and yet tell you they won't micro manage you on the interview or hiring process They don’t seem to get the technology is severely outdated and there is so much cheaper solutions out there that are more ROBUST.The management team is quite delusional as to running and scaling a business. The always see to put the cart before the horse in every way possible. They think if they hire more people it will scale quicker and don't realize that in order to scale you have to have a more comprehensive product then your competitors. Spend money on programmers to enhance the product line and stop worrying about trying to sprint before you crawl. Also please stop telling people lies about the current customer set and lying that a Sale Director can make at Min $150 K. It will never happen.

HappyOrNot has won multiple awards for innovation and business success since its inception in 2009. In 2012 HappyOrNot went international and in just a few short years is now to be found in over 100 countries and it is used by more than 2,500 companies around the world to improve customer and employee satisfaction. We have helped our clients generate more than 400 million feedbacks and make great improvements in employee and customer satisfaction in this short time. HappyOrNot is one of the fastest growing companies in Europe and was ranked the number 4 fastest growing company in Finland by Deloitte in their Fast50 rankings https://www.happy-or-not.com/en/2015/12/10472/ and number 66 in Europe in the Fast500 ranking www.deloitte.com/fast500emea HappyOrNot has grown internally as well with over 50 great employees of which I am, as a co-founder and CEO, really proud. In sales we all must have targets and in the situation where a sales person is hitting less than 30% of his targets, extra scrutiny and support are needed and it is clear that commissions will not be high. Unfortunately, in some few cases there is simply a wrong fit and we have to part ways. Fortunately, this has only happened with 2 sales employees out of 11 in the past 5 years and only one employee has resigned from HappyOrNot Americas Ltd. We are using HappyOrNot internally to measure our employee satisfaction on a daily basis. Some clients that do the same are LinkedIn, DHL, Microsoft and hundreds of other customers. The reason they use our service is that it works, it is easy and user friendly. Happy employees and happy customers are everything to us. We believe money follows those two metrics and we will continue to build our business according to this belief. Heikki Vaananen CEO HappyOrNot
