Over 10 years field service has seen cuts in pay and healthcare, but an increase in micromanagement and metrics. New hires are brought in at higher pay than experienced people in the field. So my advice is if you are still working for Hologic threaten to quit when someone new comes is hired. Then you will at least be at equal pay with the person you are training.

This company is a good name with coveted status, however their management leaves something to be desired. Managers hire their friends and then try to pass off their friends as referrals by other people. They talk to their employees terribly. They fail to take care of basic issues that cause their employees to have to work more to fix issues that could be corrected with transparency. Management works very little and has low understanding of what the job their employees are doing and is quick to react when they get wrong information about their employees. Manager flies off the handle with no warning and I've seen many people almost fired because they go off of gossip instead of what is actually happening. Their culture is lacking with management traveling to other parts of the state and country but giving no help to employees that are nearby. They overload new employees and long time ones by not having enough people to cover their territory. Very little appreciation for the people doing the work on the ground.
