Pros

1. Lunch; yes you get lunch. It’s good for the first couple months and then it’s blah. 2. A lot of departments so technically there could be growth opportunities 3. Location is NOT downtown

Cons

1. Owner is arrogant; and is stuck in the Industrial Revolution as far as how to run a company and treat employees 2. No WFH policy; literally treated like a factory clocking in and clocking out. Work life balance doesn’t exist 3. Health benefits are terrible 4. Don’t care about turnover; massive turnover right now and they are comfortable seeing years of knowledge walk out the front door rather than adapt to the current age of running a tech business 5. Micromanaged and it’s just increasing since covid 6. No accountability. Some people do all the work while others twiddle their thumbs. And that’s ok 7. Feedback to HR, Management, and CEO goes no where

Pros

If you are ambitious, you can get yourself some good experience to get a much better job Chef John's "free" lunch, even though its not free, as $3k of salary your salary is allotted to lunch expense, regardless if you are in the office or not (it's in the fine print of your contract ladies and gentlemen....)

Cons

As I do not have time to write a novel, I will sum it up with this; if you enjoy CEO's of companies putting on an attention show before meetings, like letting off smoke bombs before they walk in a room dressed up in a costume, who then informs the group that employee salaries and smoke bomb costs are under the same expense bracket. So instead of paying you what you are worth, money is needed for the toddler show. But don't worry, you are always sent a copy to watch it again for your enjoyment.... The idiocy then trickles down from there to all sorts of fun shady things....
