Pros

I have been here 6 years and the people are great, but it was not a good place to work. We now have a new management team, and it seems like they are making a difference. We all got reviews and put on a bonus plan. Good communication.

Cons

The software was buggy and made out job hard. Much better

Pros

Nice office with free fruit.

Cons

Buggy software, non existent training, no teamwork, lack of process that is constantly changing every week. People are promoted to supervisor who have no idea how to supervise. Offshore teams seem to be undermining any good work that is done by onshore.... There is little room for advancement and no raises or bonus plan in place. Salaries are not in line with market in many cases....

Pros

* Professional and personal training paths for growth. * Interactive learning center experience giving evergreen access to knowledge. * IPRO has focues leadership consistently nailing product and financial goals. * International crew of highly intelligent and fun people. * Fluid use of Agile, always discovering how to deliver to our customers better. * Work from home / anywhere. * Philosophically speaking in-line with people seeking truth and justice. (Legal Tech) * Departments communicating well and always experimenting how to make everyone's life easier. * Open and creative environment. * 9.5/10 Overall experience so far.

Cons

Legal Tech is complicated and evolving. In my experience there is a ramp-up period that can be frustrating, understanding why people need legal software, in context, takes time. Nonetheless, this con becomes an pro when the light bulbs of understanding begin to turn on. However, if you think Legal Tech is exciting, I have news, in general the domain it is terribly boring as far as the mechanics of it all. Flip-side is that there are a lot of things happening that are incredibly important on an international scale. For examples, how to continuously evolve while keeping in compliance with international laws regarding personal data? That stuff is super-exciting because we have a huge amount of responsibilty in that sector, IPRO has been around for decades. I actually miss having an centralized office. I think companies in general will evolve and solve this problem with focused events or team builiding exercises in person.

Work environment that will beat you down

Pros

If you are in need of a job to pay your bills and are able to deal with manipulation then this would be a holding place while you search for a company that will appreciate your hard work.

Cons

It has been a year since I voluntarily walked out of the IPRO door for the last time. Understand this, I left on my own terms, with notice, with no future position secured and it was the best decision I could have made. Everyone that I came in contact with noticed the difference once I left and it has taken this year to decompress from the chaos, stress, no structure, ruthlessness, ever changing policies to benefit upper management, favoritism and biased employee reviews. With upper management that will demand your evenings, weekends and holidays because of poor software and therefore client needs, this is not a good company to have as your employer. You will have to lie face to face with clients due to promises that are made and then not able to be carried out for months after the promised day. You will see wives get hired with top pay for positions they do not have the ability to perform and you will see employees be used for what knowledge they have to try to counterbalance these hires. You will be subjected to popsicle Fridays where you will stand in the heat and listen to the same stories about the wonderful growth coming. You will hear gloating of upper managements personal wealth while looking at your own paycheck and the pennies you receive as a raise. If you happened to work for the new CEO previously you will see the exact same art on the walls and the same incentives and programs, you will have your Christmas bonus taken to pay for a "fabulous" break room (only to see minor changes), if you travel you will be expected to take client appointments in airports and your car because your supervisor was hired because of who they know... not level of experience and competency in the industry. In conclusion; the environment at this company has taken seasoned veterans and new hires both, churned them through the wringer and spit them out. Both have quit and this alone squashed the belief that it is only old employees who were the problem.
