Pros

Unique operations not found in most dispatching roles. Good pay, great benefits, and airlines flight benefits are awesome to have. The company is growing quickly, so there is room for growth. With expansions to many well known airlines, it feels like I am on the ground floor of something big. A lot of promotions have come up in the last year, so it feels like there is upward movement, with several members on our dispatch team coming from other places in the company.

Cons

The operation is 24/7/365, and can change very quickly at times to match airline/airport needs. A degree of flexibility is needed for this role. As the company has doubled in size over the last year, and is planning to do it again next year, there can be a lot to handle at times.
