Pros

- Opportunity to learn basic prospecting and sales skills if you’re completely new (you can get this anywhere)

Cons

- Lack of structured systems, processes, and consistent training - Leadership lacks clear direction and consistency, which creates confusion and instability - Heavy emphasis on experimentation with advisors’ careers rather than developing a repeatable, proven model - Questionable and unethical business practices at times that can put employees in uncomfortable situations - High turnover, which speaks to broader cultural and operational issues - Many of the 5-star reviews have been written by employees while still at the firm, encouraged internally, which does not reflect the long-term experience

Pros

They would hire a garbage man so if you desperately need a job you’ll get it

Cons

DO NOT take an offer here out of college. This firm is a complete mess, and most people quit after a couple months because they don’t make any money. Every positive review you see is from management, who are nothing but high-pressure salesmen and have no actual knowledge of the finance industry. You will not learn a single thing about the markets or the finance industry general you will just be cold calling all day selling terrible products that most people with actual wealth aren’t stupid enough to buy. Please let me save you from a major career setback. If you want to be an advisor, just take an entry level job with a reputable firm and learn from people who actually know what they are doing.
