Hosts Are Underpaid, host tips are pooled and the percentage tipped out to hosts is way to low.

Pros

Fun atmosphere, good people and managers are willing to work with you. Each position works as a team and most money is made during weekends even when there are multiple hosts in a single shift. Two free sides during shift, 50% off any meal during shift and up to 7 friends or family eat at 25% off when you are present at a non-shift meal.

Cons

Servers are lazy and don't pre-bus their tables and complain constantly to the hosts about how they are sat. Whether they are sat too often, sat too little or skipped by no fault of the host.

Pros

You will get lots of yummy discounted food but you will still be miserable.

Cons

You make no money. Servers make so much more yet you are the one clearing the tables, setting them, running food, helping with togo, organizing incoming guests. I had people mid shift it was so bad.
