Pros

I loved working at Lumity. Working with some of the most talented people in the industry helped me to grow and expand my horizons. I got to work with awesome people every day. The encouragement, the out of the box thinking, the support and the team approach is what I have been searching for in a company.

Cons

None that I can think of.

Pros

I loved my time at Lumity--Is it hard YES was it worth it 100%! You will be surrounded by hard-working, smart, and innovative people. I was there for 4 years and I don't understand these negative reviews. The CEO is fair, does he push YES but is that not the job of a leader? It is a place where one can grow in any direction, just work hard, apply yourself and you will flourish. I highly recommend this innovative start-up...doing great work in a space that can often be so corrupt---Lumity is unwinding that for the consumer and it is great to be a part of that movement.

Cons

Cons not really just need to work hard but that should be the requirement in any job

Pros

Lumity is on a full-steam mission to bring transparency and accountability to the health insurance ecosystem, and I like being a part of that (most employers are waaaay overspending for what their employees actually get). I learn something new, daily, about the quagmire employers and employees face navigating the system.

Cons

Like many tech companies, the hours can be long--and the days fly by in a way that defies the space-time continuum (we call it "Lumity time"). Also, because most employers (and our clients) renew their health plans on January 1st each year, we have a peak busy season during open enrollment. It's all hands on deck. For those new to the health insurance & benefits space when they join (like me) the learning curve is steep.
