Upper management keeps changing, so we have to keep revamping everything. Change is good, just not every 6 months

As years went by Upper management stated to focus more on numbers than actual customer satisfaction and employee wellbeing.

-The core product is buggy and outdated despite efforts to update the UI to a flashier new version. Attempts to have internal development teams fix bugs usually fell flat. Several senior team members left during my tenure due to a growing sense of frustration that upper management wasn't receptive to advice or critical feedback. - Most of the management team has been with the company for 15+ years which is both good and bad. While most of the management team was decent enough to work with, my direct report was not. There was a feeling amongst my team that my manager was 'untouchable' due to the amount of time he's invested. His overbearing and overly-critical management style is ultimately what pushed me out the door.

- There technically is a matching 401k, but to have the employer contribute, you'll need to pay part of your health insurance premium - Experience can vary by department, but overall they're all great to be a part of - If you're not self-motivated, your experience may vary - Some parts of the Software Development Process aren't as Agile as others (but it's improving quickly)

- inconsistent leadership - useless upper management, feels like a start up than a actual company - lack of pay options

The Health Insurance is expensive and just going to the instacare is $300

HR and Management talk a big game when it comes to employee incentives, but they fail to follow-thru with these incentives on a consistent basis. Lots of meetings during the day to try and improve the company's internal processes but no actual resolutions are adopted by the upper management. Management is not transparent with the employees on company-wide decisions. Employee efforts are very disconnected from one-another which leads to a lot of time spent in fixing problems down the road. Very poor transparency regarding Covid-19 in regards to employment.
