Pros

I worked at Maui Jim for just about a year in 2022-23. It's filled with fantastic people and there are opportunities for at least lateral moves. The employees are, by and large, very warm and welcoming; the atmosphere is filled with Aloha; the opportunity to work from home was absolutely there. One of my great regrets is losing this job due to some personal, unresolved issues... but MJ gave me every opportunity they could to get myself in order. I would absolutely go back there.

Cons

Upward mobility is a little difficult, as most of management seems pretty content to stay.

Pros

Benefits are good. Atmosphere is more laid back. Allowed to wear casual clothing at work.

Cons

Not a lot of attrition so moving up the corporate ladder is difficult.
