Low pay, little chance of moving up, very small yearly pay increases(unless you are the boss's favorite), no bonuses, no equity as the company grows to 300 million, the owners get that, no reward for you...oh, other than another party, thanks. And the life balance only happens if you are in one of the well-funded departments; otherwise, you work all-nighters.
