Pros

The business has a huge opportunity in front of them with a captive audience. It is a slowly evolving industry so the business can be adequate and still be successful. The staff are dedicated and open to learn, and willing to work to get projects done.

Cons

The management team do not have their own understanding of the vision, which could not be articulated to the rank-and-file. The CTO is a dictator and a know-it-all; you simply can't work with him.

Pros

Over the past year, the company has undergone the most significant shift in business direction in its history. This has not been easy particularly for those who have been with the company the longest. Selling a major division is not an easy undertaking for any company and has left some disillusioned. Where some only see obstacles others see opportunity. The industry is changing and the company is trying to change with it. Lots of truly talented people who are invested in the future. You are forced to stretch and grow which provides an amazing avenue to build your resume - if this isn't what you want in your career then NBC is likely not for you..

Cons

Leadership changes have slowed the turnaround. The physical space needs to be addressed - dated, rundown and uninspiring. Too many layers of leadership in some business areas

Pros

The people are the best thing about the place, but management doesn't seem to understand that or care. Somewhat flexible schedule. That's about it.

Cons

Very unstable environment - from layoffs and company reorganization, hiring "consultants" for exorbitant salaries and getting negative results, no raises for at least 2 years, it makes the long time employees feel very unappreciated.
