Pros
- Great working environment - Team nice and friendly (no drama at all) - Flexible with WFH - Interesting projects (learning about a different industry and/or product/technology every couple of months) - Great introduction to Intellectual Property and IP valuation - Good opportunities for career advancement
Cons
- Deadlines can lead to weekends and late hours (this could happen once every couple of months, it will depend on which projects you are on) - Chicago team seems to need to go in 4/5 days of the week - The financial analysis aspect of this job is almost always done in Excel; there is practically no use of programs such as Python, R, Stata etc. (they can be available for use). This job would not be a straight pathway of experience for data science or other tech jobs
